I wonder how often the thousands of Sikhs in the world laugh at people for thinking that Moslems, outside some Mullahs, wear turbans at all.
On Sept. 11, 2001, I was living near the WTC, and I had attempted to get to higher ground to take more pictures. Soon as I found that wasn't going to happen, I worked my way down. I was driving on fumes, so I needed to get gas. Just as I pulled in, the 1st tower collapsed.
I was rather rude to the pump jock, who happened to be wearing a turban. He was a Sikh. But I didn't see that at the time, but realized it later.
Upsets me to this day.
