At a recent Four Points Santa Monica stay I was offered the Platinum Amenity of 250 points or....something else (I forget what).

I took the points. Too bad it's only 250 instead of 500, but you take what you can get. Also, there was no club/executive lounge, and no free breakfast. A fruit basket was delivered to my room. I did get upgraded to a suite (large sitting area open to the bedroom, large bath with separate deep bathtub and shower, huge balcony with view).
