HI is easy to reach from airport by tram . They will let you leave your bags after checkout. Also it is easy to get to old city and sights by the tram , the IC is more time consuming to reach from the airport. With only a day to sightsee , you will not spend much time in your room . Email hotel and tell them your situation and they may extend your checkout , if not fully booked.
