I'm in Toronto all the time, but I happened to be in Toronto over our 20th anniversary last year so my wife flew out on the Friday night and we went to Niagara Falls for the weekend. A quick hop to Fort Erie for our interviews, and it was done. If not for that sensible opportunity we'd have probably done the interviews at YYZ or YYC, but we couldn't get an appointment at YYZ before we left Ontario.

I have looked at Carlsbad but we stay in Point Loma in San Diego so flying right to SAN makes the most sense, unless the CLD fares are stupidly low.
