Starwood will let you pay and get points for the room, however whether you get stay credits is still in question.

Just contact the hotel (or have your Concierge do it), and let them know ahead of time. You may also have to fax some information to them, but it is definitely possible. Many hotels deal with this, and I believe this is SOP.
