According to the WN web site for the 5X promos for
Avis,
Budget, and
Hertz you will get 2.5 credits per 5-day rental, not 25 credits.
Along this same line.... in another thread I was told these promos (2X, 3X, etc) are not that great because the normal earning for Avis, Budget, and Hertz has always been 0.5 credits
per day. And that a 5-day rental always earned 2.5 credits. I don't buy this but maybe I've been missing the gravy train. If the normal earning is indeed 0.5 credits per day then it would only take 32 rental days to get a free R/T ticket. This sounds too good to be true. And, why have a promo with an expiration date that earns 2.5 credits for a 5-day rental when the normal earning is 2.5 credits for a 5-day rental?
Can anyone confirm for me what the normal, without a promo, rate of earning is for RR credits on Avis, Budget and Hertz? The WN web site does not clearly state whether 0.5 credits is per day or per rental.
