That is an understatement. IC is very nice but is VERY far from old city in the modern part of Istanbul where the highrise office buildings are, on the other side of the strait.
CP is still several 2+ Kilometers away from the true Old City.
Unless you MUST stay with an IHG hotel, I would choose a local one that is truly inside the Old City.
