I had a one night stay at the Hyatt Arlington, VA, last night.

The white ginger body lotion was half empty - not at all a compensable miscue.

This morning, I found a camisole on the floor next to the desk, in a location where it clearly would have been discovered under any ordinary room cleaning, and along with the body lotion problem, confirmation of poor cleaning. I brought it down at check out, and upon being asked how my stay was, I disclosed the discovery, indicating that I had found it on the floor. The response was to take it and say it would go to lost and found.

I'm an easy going enough dude (no official complaint when I was trying to check in at Hyatt Lisle at 1:00 a.m. and no one was at front desk for 20 minutes) but I was taken aback with this blase response to my production of a previous guests's piece of intimate apparel.

Since I was obviously not impressing the FD, I have reported this - emphsizing (1) the poor cleaning and (2) how dense the FD was - on hyatt.com's online custoer service comment (or likely more commonly "complaint") form.

2, maybe 3, GP points should be enough to compensate me for the "trauma", but I hope this provides the franchisee an opportunity to improve service.
