I'llMissCP, how come all these bad bad things only happens to you and you only post when bad things happen to you? I've never seen you post something like "I had a great flight that day...". It's hard to believe that a FA would tell you to "suck it up" if the seat is broken and it's not your fault, most FA would at least try their best to fix the situation.

ACORD: Actually, this happened to me last year, on a YVR-YYZ flight, the J seat that I was in was broken (it wouldn't recline), an uniformed pilot gave me his seat and he went to sit in the back instead. The gate agent later upgraded someone from Y who was willing to sit in that broken seat instead of Y. (Hey, it beats a cramped Y seat anytime! )
