I agree that this is excellent info.

No offense to the AC posters, but doesn't $100 for a defective seat seem a bit stingy? Especially if you paid a $4,900 premium over coach ($6,122 JX vs $1219 VLXAB on expedia.ca for a theoretical YVR-NRT r/t trip in Feb).

Even if you were travelling on a consolidator J ticket, or had a corp discount, $100 for something as important as a broken seat seems way too low.
