any chance....you guys could get the Amex MEMBERSHIP REWARDS ----> STARPOINTS conversion worked out to something less onerous ? 3:1 doesn't cut it and seems more a penalty than a serious inducement to convert MR points to SPG points.

I have a huge cache of points sitting in Amex's Membership Rewards program with no place to go for my personal best use... that would quickly become starpoints if spg would reduce the ratio to 1.5MRpoints:1 *pt or better. Lack of AA and/or UA affiliation in Membership Rewards makes Amex's MR program a dinosaur of a program IMO so all those MR points I accumulated...are idle. Yes, I caught a huge transfer via the TWA loophole last summer like many other frustrated MR point/AA wannabes, but still have more MR...that want to be infant starpoints badly. I've given up on AMEX's ability to sign AA on. They've only had a decade to 'fix this" gaping hole in their program. Plus, your starpoint/spg/AA affiliation and conversion ratio is considerably more attractive to boot.

Therefore, heard of any change to this about to come out ?

1:1 obvious would be the goal and would "exceed expectations" which I would expect out of spg based on previous experience; 1.5:1 would be "about expected". 2:1 would be considered but I personally doubt I would go with that even.
