I just became AC Prestige this year for the first time, and was not thrilled by the privileges available to me, and so I'm considering switching to UA Mileage Plus this year and try to reach their Premier status next year. I can make 25K a year, but making 35K isn't easy for me, so the Star Alliance Silver level is the best I can do.

I'm thinking of switching to UA because I can't afford TP M class or higher, so can never take advantage of upgrades on AC, and UA Premier gives unlimited domestic upgrades (still rare at my level, I know), and pretty much everything else the same as AC, nothing really less from what I see.

I'm wondering what Prestige Select Privileges I should choose if I'm planning to switch to UA (I think the 1500 bonus and the 4 lounge passes are given, but tell me if I'm wrong) or please convince me that Prestige is better than Premier.
