(As a side note, OT: we're considering second week in the seychelles, but I find it better to book RT early to DAR than to gamble on a return from Mahe in case we change our mind).

You can't redeem CO miles for EK flights anymore, I believe. LH doesn't fly to DAR. I think LX does, and so does KL, but that's it. So for you, only LX is an option if I'm not mistaken.
