Heres to DJ joining *A asap! then I wouldnt have to fly Qantas or bother with any excess baggage fees (esp when the QF website usually is non-functional when it comes to prepaid excess baggage rates so ur forced to pay full rates at the airport!!!)
Many of us choose not to shop at all in Australia because of the poor choice and overpriced nature of predominantly Chinese manufactured goods - so when you visit relatives and do the yearly Europe trip and come back to AU via the usa for the 3 bag allowance it is most certainly an important factor - not to mention that several mileage/shopping/relative visits to USA every year are certainly more fruitful with 3bag 96kg baggage allowance!
