I switched most of my flying to *A last year because WN was largely uncompetitive on price. I did keep the Chase RR Visa because of the ability to book last minute RR trips to many destinations. Plus the Companion Pass - that I have only used 3 times in the last year. Plus I had so many expiring RR awards I gave most of them to friends. I just applied for the Barclay's US Mastercard today - don't see as much value in RR anymore.

I like the customer service on WN - but as Chariman's on US I get First Class (or at least a really nice exit row), 2x RDM mileage, good *A international awards, really good phone support.

WN is still good for very last minute travel to some cities and for trips you might not take and can save flight credit if you cancel. Many other benefits are diluted or gone altogether.

Good luck to 'em but they won't see me very much anymore.
