I live a couple of blocks from the Prince. There's not a lot to do around there if you're looking for entertainment. Across the street and around the hotel are a number of fast food and casual restaurants. Upscale restaurants: one in the hotel, a Japanese restaurant attached to the hotel and David Duncan House just around the corner from the hotel. Shopping: Fairview Mall - a couple of miles north at Sheppard and Don Mills Rd. and Don Mills Centre about a mile south at Lawrence and Don Mills. But for entertainment - bar hopping, shows, jazz, etc. - downtown is the place to go. If you're here with a car, then the Don Valley Parkway will get you downtown in 10-15 minutes (except during morning rush hour). Anything special you're looking for? If so, ask, maybe I can help.
