I have about 100 or so Blu-ray movies, as well as many stardard DVDs. I have a habit of ripping them to AVI or MKV files whenever I buy a new Blu-ray. All of them are saved on my PC laptop's hard drive.(but I also sometimes just play the original disc in the laptop's Blu-ray drive)

Anyway, I'm either going to get a Samsung Galaxy S or iPhone. If I want to watch the movie files that I already have, which is the better choice? According to the Samsung sites, I can just put the movies on the microSD card and play them directly on the phone. Not sure if this is possible with the iPhone4?
