Question Possible to cancel USA BA Chase Visa and still redeem 241 voucher?
I believe I saw a post(s) on this some time ago but now can't find it after searching. My wife has the BA Chase Visa and got the 241 voucher last year, but now the card is up for renewal. We haven't yet decided where to go, so haven't yet redeemed it. The card is now up for renewal, with the renewal fee of course.

Does anyone know whether it is necessary to retain the card in order to use the voucher?

More to the point, does anyone have any experience canceling the card and then redeeming the voucher later?
