The new Sheraton Soma Bay Resort, about 40 miles south of Hurghada, is abolutely stunning. I have been to several places on the Red Sea, but the Sheraton Soma Bay has by far the best beach. You can do great snorkeling directly from the hotel. The personnel is extremely friendly; I cannot recommend this hotel higly enough!
