Just a note that this is very accurate and very annoying. I didn't like this check-in process setup at all - total disorder. You never know when you're going to get behind a slow agent or someone with a massive bill dispute that could derail your line completely. This is one area they need to address. This is Vegas, not a suburban Courtyard!
cosmopolitan is a unique boutique hotel just like "Rumor Hotel Las Vegas"..... they do things differently. The good thing is that you can queue in front of whoever you think will help you the most by looking at their gestures/facial expressions/body language. I queued in front of a mid 20's female... she was helpful and friendly, chatted, she said she used to work at Mandalay bay THEhotel.... just strike up a friendly convo in order to secure your upgrade
