Well, this OLD person IS a seasoned traveler and many of the OLD people I know are, as well. We know exactly what "enhanced procedures" means and, trust me, not a one of us likes them. The one thing that we do, though, is complain and complain bitterly. We write letters to the TSA, to the airport and to the government every single time we get felt up at a check point. If more people did this, it would certainly help the cause.
I'm sorry, I was typing quickly and shorthanding what I meant. The older people in line around us were all visiting family, and two ladies were going on a cruise with some friends they had for 30+ years. Continental was so incredibly inefficient this morning we had plenty of chatting time. The older people I observed also seemed confused about the checking in process as well as the security process, so I'm assuming they don't travel that often. It was based on more than just age, I promise I'm not an ageist. Many apologies!
