Honestly, I'm a very expressive person without meaning to be so I'm sure she got quite a few smirks/disdainful expressions and I know I had a couple eyebrow raises while she was describing the procedure. Aside from commenting about the lack of safety testing on the pornoscanners I kept pretty quiet. I get amped up quickly when I think people are being stupid and I know they are wrong. I will argue to the death about it and there really isn't any point into getting into it with her. We were far enough away from the passenger line that it's not like anyone could have listened in and benefited.
Also, my husband hovering right in front of us watching everything she did was a clear sign to her that we were not happy. I think the combination is what put her on the defensive, or more people are opting out and arguing with them at that stop then I observed this morning and it's just her natural state at this point.
Yeah. That's great. Keep the pressure on them at all points. Still, I'd have given a hundred bucks, to read your husband's thoughts at that point, as he watched them do to you what, if HE did it in his capacity of LEO to some random person on the street with cause equal to yours, would result in a lawsuit and getting fired, if not more. That has to be as demoralizing as heck. There's LEOs in my family and they don't think this is so hot either.
