BUD-FRA-SIN can be booked, codeshare on MA and that should be cheaper than IB. Any word about a tag-end from SIN? I can't believe that it doesn't exist but not interested enough to search for it.
Haven't located anything yet. There are some expensive flights that go on to Australia. I was hoping I could book FRA-SIN-(3K)-KUL with the latter segment in JetFlex class but that option is not available on qantas.eu or orbitz.
I guess I could book it as a separate ticket; approximate cost is US$350 for SIN-KUL-SIN.
Unfortunately, that MA option from BUD is more expensive than IB from MAD, especially for an upgradable fare class.
