F9 passengers may only check bags with a CSA within 4 hours of scheduled flight departure time. If a passenger buys two separate one way tickets the CSA will not see a connection at time of check-in due to the separate PNR's. If the connection time is less than 4 hours the bag may be checked through if the passenger provides documentation, such as a printed confirmation that they are holding a confirmed seat on a later F9 connecting flight or valid interline carrier. Any connection time greater than 4 hours requires bags to be claimed and rechecked at the ticket counter for the connecting flight.
