If you are flying AC, MLL is your only option. If you are flying CA or SQ, then you have the access to the plaza lounge.
SQ last flight ex-YVR was on 26th of April 2009.

Honestly the intl YVR terminal is so pleasant that I don't see much of a win for the MLL. With free wifi, comfortable seats, and quiet seating areas it's as nice as the small crowded MLL anyways.
I took few AC flights to LHR last year, and the lounge was always crowded especially with LH pax. Many times it was difficult to find a seat.
