I know the two airlines haven't merged their FF programs yet, but I'm hoping to be able to use my United miles to book a reward flight for 2 from BOS to YYG this August. The only viable option for the trip is Continental, but the flights in question are blocked from appearing on United's Star Alliance reward schedule.

I will soon have roughly 72,000 UA miles available but none in my brand new OnePass account. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to make this happen?
