I'm confused.

I just did a search for YOW-GRU and the total number of miles is 5065, meaning 17 credits for Tango plus.

However, the flight YYZ-GRU (which I thought would put me under the 5000 threshold for lower credits) is 5055 miles.

This is crazy as you can't get a direct YOW-GRU flight, and I'm SURE it's more than 10 miles to Toronto from Ottawa!!

How are they calculating these things? Seems like a way to get us to burn more of our credits....
