Call reservations and indicate you will have an "infant-in-arms". There is sometimes a fee for this (I don't know how much it is), but you do need to let Delta know about the infant. If I recall correctly, it is usually free for domestic travel and a percentage of the fare for international. But it all depends on the fare rules.
