The service shouldn't be any different between the lo-J and hi-J configurations. I've only sat in WT+ on hi-J 747's and on 777's and that was a few years back, therefore cannot comment based on direct recent experience of lo-J 747's.

The unofficial advantage of lo-J configs is you get off before CW and depending on the crew you may be able to raid the Club Kitchen located in the galley between WT+ and CW.
