With regard to the surgery, it's a double repair--my rotator cuff and labrum on the right side are torn. It'll be arthroscopic, so the recovery time should be relatively short. My doc is the best guy around--he takes care of the pro athletes here. Also, the physio therapists on his staff are top-notch. I'm actually looking forward to having it fixed. It hurts.
