Economy comfort vs seat with extra legroom

In a couple of weeks I will be flying with KLM on their 747 to LAX.
As FB Gold, I booked a seat with extra legroom (emergency exit row 12C on both sectors) at no extra cost through the KL website (manage my booking).

I can also book a comfort seat for a slight premium (90 euro as a FB elite I believe).
Is it worth the extra money or would you keep the emergency exit seat?

I have never flown in economy comfort, but it seems the only benefit is additional recline as the seat pitch in the emergency seat will be more or less unlimited.
