Had a really nice vacation with my family in Thailand over x-mas and new year. On the flight back to Sweden I was quite supprised..
traveling with wife and our kids 2,6 in Y (quite expensive anyway..) sitting on 36 A, B, C and 37 C (with no one on 37 B)
As our flight from Sweden Thaiair forgot to bring the child special food for this flight as well. And also they had nothing to give to the kids during the flight, no crayons or anything.
When we were seated I noticed that the people sitting on 35D, E, F were hiding one of their kids under a blanket and I recalled that they also did this during check-in, as the flight took of I got the answer why - the child had severe chicken pox

, probably second or third day with it and very contagious.
As if that was not enough after one hour of flying the family tried to claim the 37 B seat that was giving us some extra room as they were flying with on child under two years without a seat (the chicken pox one)..

The flight attendant felt sorry for the family and said that they needed the extra space more than us (that were paying for four seats).
I got very angry and told the flight attendand that a family flying with chicken pox should not be entitled to any seat on this flight! Their blanket hiding seems to have worked for the family thinking of nothing but them selvs because she apologized to me and told the family that they could not move and later asked them if the child had the chicken pox - which they denied.
please give me your opinon in this matter should I report it to Thai?. happy holiday to all of you!
