UA has quite a range of vouchers and compensation.

Oddly many really are near useless for some who get them, and the same animals are fabulous for others!

Like all things UA, there is zero consistency.

We did 15,000 real miles in UA Suites today, and got 2 of the "Apology" voucher options, which each offer the following -

Now as we do not have a USA card billing address the $250 option #1 is totally useless to us - but often handy for US based fliers I'd guess. (And we almost never book 100% USA based trips anyway.) Why it is not globally useable when you get it on a LAX-SYD flight and you live in SYD in another of UA's inconsisencies.

We often get '20% off' coupons for things, or high $$ amounts so 10% option #2 is generally easily trumped by those.

I have 2 million miles in my UA account so option #3, and 10,000 more is no biggie really.
