Now there a lot more seasoned voices in this forum.

On the A/C home page it says you can use your miles towards upgrades on Star Alliance carriers.

I went to that link and it tells me which airlines will allow them for use.

Question is, what is the procedure after that? The instructions are a little sparse and is really what it sounds like?

On U/A I can use my miles to leg upgrades. Is it similar to that?
