I understand that the Platinum amenity program is for North American properties only. However, during my last three stays at the Sheraton in Rio De Janeiro, I have been given a piece of paper asking me to select from either 500 points, or a box of chocolates, or some other things. Each time I selected 500 points but have not received them as yet. I contacted the Platinum concierge but she said that she was unable to help since the Platinum amenity program did not apply to Brazil. I have emailed the property and am waiting for a reply. Any advice on getting the points?
