OT But I thought I would share this story from my first and only MR last Dec (SLC->FLL->JFK->SLC). The flight from FLL->JFK->SLC had a 35 min layover. Figured it was do able and if I missed there was another flight JFK->SLC 3 hours later.

The flight from FLL landed on time at 3:20 PM but then we spent 15 minutes on the tarmac waiting to get to the gate and another couple of minutes to get the the door opened. I was first out of the plane and we were at gate 22. I asked where the SLC flight was and how to get there. Gate 15. A quick 5 minute walk over to the other terminal. I walked on to the plane at around 3:45 pm. The door closed at 3:55PM. Of course then we spent another 20 minutes on the ground trying to get out of there.

MR to make plat. for the year $250.
Total MR (house to house) time 21 hours.
Total time spent at JFK 55 minutes, priceless.
