I agree that Mr. Harper was treated too harshly last year.
I do not agree that CO's boss is being treated too harshly this year.
Harper spun something, which is fine, although maybe not the nest way to do things with such a picky and savvy group as this.
Gordon flat out lied to everyone about a matter of great substance, and continues to rip the guts out of a fine FF program while telling us how freaking valuable we are and how they won't cut benefits. Even after being called on the carpet by the WSJ and several other major newspapers, they haven;t apologized or even owned up to this bald-faced deception.
So long as Mr. Berra doesn't state that he promises not to cut benefits in 2002, and then a week later devalues everyone's points by 25% and makes suite upgrades impossible to get, I think he'll be spared from the reaming Gordon is getting.
