you could ask DL at origin to interline your baggage to NRT. might actually happen - if you produce both reservations at check-in.
The walk between T3/T2 and T1 is brief - 10 minutes by foot at most, or one stop on the AirTrain (No shuttle needed)
Even if you have to get and re-check your bag, you should have enough time to make the DL --> JL transfer, provided you are coming on DL from within the US - not clearning customs and immigration.
