dreamfool, Depending on your date/time, you can get advance-purchase prices of as low as 30€. While it is really up to you, the train takes about 3 hrs, which is less time than getting from Madrid to MAD, checking-in/going through security, flying, and getting from BCN to Barcelona. What dates are you looking at?
Palal, I'm glad you saw this, I was about to PM you.
We will be arriving in Madrid on 3/19, plan to head to Barcelona on 3/21 night and back to Madrid on 3/24 night. If you know of any overnight trains we can take we would like to consider those too (doesn't have to be AVE). Thanks!
