I agree that it's not as bad as I first thought - the website doesn't really state clearly what it is, however after more reading it looks like there is some entertainment and the direct tv is an upsell. I agree that this doesn't really seem to be nickel and diming. Why can't they just have it clear on the site when you go to either book it, or check the status etc - this I still don't understand.

I've never been on a flight longer than 4 hours without some sort of in flight entertainment though - and if they do start charging for you to have anything, then I am irritated.
