From the web site:

Effective Wednesday, October 6 to Thursday, March 31, 2011, the Aloft Austin at The Domain will be closed temporarily due to water damage incurred during Tropical Storm Hermine. Repair and restoration efforts will be underway during this time. All current hotel guests and those with future reservations during this time period are being relocated to other area hotels. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Either they had a flood drainage issue from all the new concrete poured at this site and surrounding buildings, or there was some sort of structural issue (roof, windows, etc.) that allowed water to penetrate the building. That would be my guesses...
