I was thinking of Deerbrook Mall on US 59, aka Eastex Freeway. Used to be a bus went there, but Google map is not showing me Public Transportation for some reason, so don't know if it still does. It's about 7 miles from IAH.

I made the mistake of going to Greenspoint one time when I took a bump and had eight hours to kill

Buses went to both back then, I took the first one that came along.
