Actually, with Priceline you'll find that what you pay them is sometimes less than what they pay the hotel, especially if you're using a bonus money offer.

I've calculated negative margin on at least half of about six or seven stays. It gets even worse when you figure in CC processing fees. And of course this doesn't include any overhead. I assume they make it up in volume.
