Sorry for your experience with the hotel staff, however what they told you was accurate. The hotel does not have this info as it is not given by Expedia. All is not lost however. You can log in at Expedia and pull up your past stays. You should be able to generate a confirmation with the amount you paid for the room. </font>

All, thanks for your posts.

Yes I know that I can get a copy of a receipt from Expedia, but if your Accounts Payable department is anything like mine, they have a tendency to frown on an expedia reciept (versus a recipt from the hotel itself) due to the fact that we have to use a corporate travel agency for our travel.

I will try your recomendation William on calling Corporate Services to see if they can help. Thanks very much for the info.

But the funny thing about this though, is I did book a lower rate via Expedia last year for a Hilton Property and I DID get a receipt from the hotel for my stay. So it can be done...only SPG accounting has not figured out how to provide the receipts yet.

Finally...until the customer service improves at the Santa Clara Westin, I would highly advise you fellow FT'ers to not be a hard head like me, and instead spend your travel dollars at the excellent San Jose Sheraton, the Palo Alto Westin or the Hilton across the street since the Santa Clara Westin does really not give a hoot about Platinums...
