I should have listened to all of my fellow FT'ers on the various warnings about the staff at the Santa Clara, CA Westin. But being a bit of a hard head I went ahead and booked a stay there this week anyway

(I will stay at the Westin Palo Alto or the Sheraton San Jose for now on)
I completed a stay at the Westin Santa Clara today and first of all did not receive my folio under my door thus necessitating a trip down to the SPG desk to get a receipt.
The very unfriendly associate at the desk offered no apologies for me not receiving a folio and simply (in a huff) printed out a receipt for me.
I was in a hurry to get to a meeting and
did not get a chance to look at the receipt
until I got in the rental car in the parking lot.
Looking at the receipt I was surprised to find out that the receipt only had my internet charges and a phone call. Wondering what was going on (and being a honest bloke to boot) I went back in the hotel to see the huffy associate who printed out the receipt and asked her why the charges for the stay were not printed.
She responded by saying that on Expedia or Priceline prepaid rates the hotel does not produce a receipt with the hotel stay information and only produces a receipt with the incidentals used during that stay.
A discussion with the equally unfriendly front desk manager netted me the same answer (in addition to a couple of additional remarks)
My question is has anyone else run into this issue before at a StarWood Property?
And Starwood Lurker, I really need a receipt from the hotel for my expense report. Is there any way you can help me?
