Swissair Celebrates New Airbus A330 Service to Boston with $3.30 Companion Ticket

MELVILLE, N.Y., Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- In celebration of its new Airbus A330 aircraft providing non-stop service from Boston to Switzerland 7 days a week, Swissair is offering a $3.30 companion ticket in the same class of service with the purchase of a First, Business or Economy Class ticket.

Tickets must be purchased between October 22 and November 19, 1999 for travel November 14, 1999 to January 31, 2000 (with the exception of December 15 to January 10).

To qualify for the companion ticket, Economy Class passengers must purchase a ticket at a 14 day advance or higher fare (from $636* round trip), and Business and First Class passengers must purchase full fare tickets ($5,122* round trip) and ($7,046* round trip), respectively.

Flight Schedule
Flight 127 departs Boston 6:50 pm, arrives Zurich 8:00 am.
Flight 126 departs Zurich 10:20 am, arrives Boston 12:55 pm.

The Airbus A330 aircraft gives passengers, especially those traveling in Economy Class, an experience that deserves to be shared -- more comfort, more information and more entertainment. For the first time, all Economy Class passengers have personal In-flight Entertainment Centers that offer information on the flight's progress, news programs, 9 film options, video games, and games of chance. Business and First Class seats offer personal laptop connections.

The A330 aircraft has a total of 224 seats: 166 in Economy Class, 48 in Business Class and 10 in First Class.
