You'll have to put in your number on the CP line too, so if that's the main irritant, it won't go away on the other number. As for there not being a dedicated CP number, there is, but I believe your call is routed to the CP desk off of your DM# if you go through the automated call routing system, just the same, no matter what number you dial in on. Call center folks don't always know how the calls get to them, so I'd try not to hold that against the agent; I used to support a government call center and I think most of us didn't know the number that folks were calling in on (why would you call that when your job is to answer that, and when you have the direct number for your boss?) and I have no idea what 800 number my current customers use to call in on their support contracts, despite having held this job for 5 years.
