I checked out of this property yesterday and saw Dave, the operations guy, processing a $100 guarantee for someone who did not get the platinum amenity gift. It must have been for the OP. Dave is a nice guy, and he said it was a long time where he had to pay out the guarantee. I saw him writing a lot of stuff down next to a $100 bill.

Marriott properties are not obligated to give free breakfast on the weekends. This property used to give free breakfast on the weekends but stopped a few years ago. I have had many discussions with Rita, the front desk manager over this policy.
