Pros and Cons of LX versus CO

Pros for LX:
Flat seats
More privacy
Better food
No long layover in EWR - in fact no EWR (you should have done PHL )
Good audio selection
Later departure time
Sleep right through on a longer flight and get breakfast on the short haul

Cons for LX:
Seats can be hard and even a bit too short to lie comfortably if you are tall
Service is very slow unless you take the light meal option (loss of sleep)
Noisier A340 plane at the back of business (more loss of sleep)
Nicer movie screen on CO and newer movie releases
Better bar selection on CO
Very miss-able connection in ZRH (with a 6 hour wait for the next flight)
Award tickets as rare as hens teeth on LX over-nights generally
