THANK YOU!! Swanhunter that is the EXACT reason for my frustration more than the whole CW/CE/WT downgrade/upgrade/whatevergrade!

I chose this service ONLY for a bed to sleep in. In fact when I take this redeye, I always go out of my way to approach either the CSD of Cabin (i.e. CW) Manager to politely ask for them not to offer me any dinner service so that I can gain the maximum amount of sleep possible before going to the office for a FULL Friday workday.

The flight I took on Thursday did not offer me this service and hence I don't feel I should be penalized for paying for a service (or I guess a very expensive bed :-) ) I did not receive - only to be told we can offer £150 compensation (how do they even reach such a number?).

BTW - when i sometimes take the morning flights on Fridays (occasionally during the summer months) I opt to fly WT+ as i don't feel the need to pay for THAT (CW) particular service for 4 hours when i mainly need to work or for that matter, to even watch a movies.
